Questions You Should Be Prepared To Answer
Consider these questions your opportunity to sell yourself and compete for the job opportunity. Preparing to answer these questions and communicating your answer clearly increases the odds that you will receive an offer and could influence the amount of the offer.

  5. How do you set your goals? How do you measure them?

  6. Where do you want to be in "x" years?

  7. What are your strengths? Weaknesses?

  8. How do you deal with conflict?

  9. What kind of team player are you?

  10. When are you available?

  11. What is your current salary? Compensation?

  12. What salary are you looking for?

  13. Why did you take your previous position?

  14. Describe how you go about doing "x" (usually some specific technical task)?

  15. What could you contribute here?

  16. What do you want out of a company?

  17. Describe to me what you did at "Company A"?

  18. What did you like best about your position at "Company A" ? Least?

  19. Tell me about your experience with... (usually some technical skill or knowledge set)

  20. Do you have any questions for me?

  21. What has been your favorite job so far? Why?

  22. Why did you choose to go to "ABC" college?

  23. Why did you choose to major in "x"?

  24. Why did you drop out of, or, not finish your college degree?

  25. Why have you not gone back to complete your degree?

  26. How did you choose "x" as a career?

  27. What kind of employee are you?

  28. What do you like to do outside of work?

  29. What interests do you have other than work?
